Tavern briefing

About the dungeon

Dungeon Jerks is a snarky tile-and-card dungeon crawl for 3–8 players. One device pass-and-play, or async rooms across phones — same chaos, different couch. PG-13. Roll, jeer, profit.

The vibe

Think D&D night if the DM had espresso and nobody brought a notebook. Tiles appear from the mist. Action cards punish friendship. Characters narrate themselves like they're auditioning for a reality show in a haunted tavern.

Core rules

Four rules to the chaos.

  1. 110 tiles on a growing grid — reveal from smoky edges, roll d20 outcomes.
  2. 104 action cards when you step on existing rooms — HP, GP, statuses, and bad decisions.
  3. 89 characters with once-per-round jerk powers and full voice narration.
  4. Central gold pot — first to 20 GP wins. Shield your friends until you cannot.

How to play

Four steps. Zero patience required.

1

Reveal a tile

Start on the Welcome Tile. Click a smoky edge to reveal a new room — placing it automatically earns +1 GP. Roll the d20 table for whatever horrors await.

2

Move to draw action

Moving onto a tile that is already on the board does not pay GP. It pulls an Action card from the bottom-right deck. Resolve it, then your turn ends.

3

Use your jerk power

Each character gets a once-per-round ability. The popup shows only the target controls that ability needs.

4

Hit 20 GP

First player to 20 Gold wins. When someone gets close, the table gets warned. Be polite, then be awful.
